It's been 7 years since Da Brat dropped her last album, and 2 years since she entered prison on charges of aggravated assault for attacking a female with a liquor bottle at a Halloween party in ATL. Da Brat was released from prison at the end of February 2011, and buzz of her upcoming album started immediately. For those wondering if she still has it....she does, and maybe even better.
Da Brat and Jermane Durpi teamed up for a remix of Chris Brown's hit single 'Look At Me Now'. Jermaine makes it a weak listen as usual, but Da Brat comes in and saves the track with her signature rapid-fire delivery and go-hard rhymes. This has me excited for a new Brat-tat-tat-tat album.
