Chris Brown and Ke$ha were the subjects of a segment on Fox News where they were both trashed for their behavior and music. Ke$ha's segment was completely irrelevant as she was trashed primarily for her racy lyrics. These people acted as if Freedom of Speech did not exist.
Chris Brown's part of the show was a lot more harsh. The singer was dragged through the mud and portrayed in a very negative manner. The show focused on his Today Show Concert on NBC and questioned if he is being awarded for bad behavior after beating up his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. The show even went so far as to question fans at his Today show concert and show them photos of Rhianna's battered face. They then commented on him trashing a room at Good Morning America's studio earlier this year in a fit of rage sparked by him being asked about Rihanna on the show. Like Ke$ha they also trashed his music and lyrical content.
Chris Brown, as expected, was not too pleased and took to Twitter saying: “People really should grow up sometimes! I guess the next story they make up will say “chris brown paid the fans to come! #stopit5
hahaha.. I get it though! They are upset at the fact that the today
show actually focuses on talent instead of an almost 3 year old
incident! Running bogus and pointless stories don’t matter! My fans
prove that everyday and the haters just look old as F**k ! I keep my
head high and my middle finger higher! I love team breezy. Let’s just
laugh it off cuz they mad. Ahahahahaha.. Fame + Platinum= Fortune!
Nobody can take my joy. I have some of the most incredible fans in the
world. Goodnight y’all!”
I feel like Chris Brown did an awful thing. But he was judged in a court of law and sentenced, and he's also being judged by God. Those are the only two entities worthy of judging him. If Rihanna, the actual victim in all of this, was able to forgive him and move on, so should everyone else. However, Chris Brown can help the situation by not acting like a child. His actions on Good Morning America and his very un-humble photo session after the 2011 BET Awards (He won 3 awards, and posed with the awards after the show in a very cocky and un-humble manor) don't help people move on from this situation. Even his Twitter response above reads like he's an immature brat that needs to grow up.
