News Fix - Jennifer Lopez Not Sure If She'll Return To 'American Idol'?

Jennifer Lopez is playing hard ball with FOX on whether or not she'll return to American Idol next season. Judges Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler both have multi-year contracts, however Jennifer only signed a one year contract. Since J. Lo became a judge on the #1 show in America, FOX has experienced a ratings boost for the program. Is J. Lo holding out on her contract renewal for more money? I think so, but she has a differnt story.

"I don't know. I haven't been forced to make a decision and I'm glad about that because honestly, I'm very on the fence about it," J.Lo tells BBC Radio 1. "It's going to come down to me making a choice of what I want to do for the next year and we're not really at the breaking point of 'You have to make a decision right now!' I'm just really enjoying the time of just waiting and seeing."

That's all bogus, though. Jennifer's previous deal paid her $500,000 per episode. That's a hefty pay check and with her film and music career somewhat on the rocks, she's not about to let that money go. But now that she knows her worth she can hold out on signing a contract renewal until that per-episode payment is increased. Smart lady.
