Ke$ha catches a lot of criticism for her trailer-park-like image, silly songs and limited vocal abilities. But the reality is she's quite talented, writing hits for artists like Britney Spears, as well as writing her own material. She also plays several instruments including the guitar and piano. And her live performances are a toss-up. Since she's not a great vocalist or dancer, you'd think she sucks live. WRONG.
Compared to Britney Spears now, Ke$ha outperforms her by leaps and bounds. Ke$ha sings LIVE, dances (and while not the greatest, she's fully committed and full of energy) and plays multiple instruments throughout her set. Last Night on Conan O'Brien's Summer Concert Series Ke$ha hit the stage performing her hits 'We R Who We R' and 'Blow' and also perfomred one of her few ballads 'Animal'.
