News Fix: Janet Jackson Signs Movie Production Deal with Lionsgate Entertainment

We've watched Janet Jackson's acting go from bad (Nutty Professor 2) to so-so (Why Did I Get Married) to decent (For Colored Girls) over the last past decade, and apparently her commitment to be a better actress has paid off. Lionsgate Films has singed a deal with Janet for an undisclosed amount of money to develop a film. Apparently she's being given full creative reign to do whatever she wants. Let's hope it's something good so she can continue to make films. And please spare us a 3rd Why Did I Get Married movie. Thanks in advance.
