Forbes just released it's list of the Top 5 richest hip-hop artists, and Diddy comes in the top spot with an estimated worth of $475 million. His most significant source of income is from his part ownership of the popular Ciroc Vodka. Other sources of income include Sean John Clothing and Bad Boy Entertainment which includes the production and release of music, TV shows and Movies. Forbes list only consisted of 5 artists because of the lack of information for fortunes under $100 million(So any rapper NOT on this list is worth less than 100 million). This list also ONLY includes performing artists which is why Russell Simmons is not included cause we all know he would shut them all down. Rush Card anyone? Here are the net worths of the others that made the top 5:
Jay-Z: $450 million
Dr. Dre: 125 million
50 Cent: 100 million
Birdman: 100 million
