Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow is currently in negotiations with Atlantic Records to sign a recording deal for a country album according N.Y. Post's Page Six. Gwyneth recently starred in the film Country Strong where she played a country singer. She's also recently performed on several high profile shows including the 2011 Grammy's. While Gwen(yes, we gave her a nick name) can carry a note, her voice is far from stellar. There was a time when being a country singer required you to have an impressive set of pipes. But with Taylor Swift putting country music in a choke hold for the past few years, she's paved the way for more vocally challenged singers to make it in country. BRAVO Taylor!
