Last nights episode of America Idol was interesting to say the least. Contestants were mentored by big name producers, and the LIVE show was pre-taped this week again (apparently they WILL go LIVE next week). Naima performed an interesting rendition of Rihanna's hit song 'Umbrella'. Poor choice since this is a singing competition, and the song doesn't leave much room to show off vocal abilities with its repetitive chant-like hook. But it was entertaining to watch.
